As usual I had a self inflicted thrash, I was upgrading my WordPress Install to 2.6 and I followed the detailed instructions; WRONG!

I had nothing but trouble and made it hard on myself, so being bored with the failure and to just entertain myself and maybe learn something in the proccess, I tried the simple three step upgrade. 

Ever hear of KISS?  Keep It Simple Stupid!?

The upgrade process is daunting following the extended method and I will never go there again! I’m a Three Stepping kindaguy from now on.
